Get Ready for an Avalanche of Blessing!

An avalanche is defined as, “a sudden arrival or occurrence of something in overwhelming quantities.”

Ephesians 3:20 says:

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

In order to experience the avalanche of God’s blessing in your life, it’s critically important that you embrace four key principles:

#1 You become what you think about.

As a young boy, Norman Vincent Peale thought he lacked brains and ability, In one of his books, he wrote:

I constantly told myself that I had no brains, no ability; that I didn’t amount to anything and never would…I then became aware that people were agreeing with me; for it is a fact that others will unconsciously take you at your own self-appraisal.

Thankfully, Dr. Peale changed his thinking and later in life wrote The Power of Positive Thinkinga popular book that has sold more than 20 million copies.

God-inspired positive thinking is just another term for faith. If you think you are a child the King and have access to unlimited resources, then it’s just a matter of time before your avalanche of blessing begins! Trust and believe God that what He has for you really is yours!

#2 Life is what you believe it is.

Proverbs 23:7 says:

For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.

We can create our own reality around us every minute of the day. The thoughts we dwell on are the ones most likely to come into fruition. So, what have you been thinking lately?

Check out what Pope John XXIII said:

Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do.

#3 Start with what you have.

Many people think they have to wait until everything is perfect before they can experience the manifestation of God’s blessing. Not true! Start with what you have. You are already enough and God has already equipped you to make a difference.

In his book, Wisdom Meets Passion, Dan Miller, President of 48 Days and Creative Thinker, says:

Start with what you have. If you wait until you have the confidence you need to do a job search, the education you need before you’re a great candidate, or the money you need to start a business, you’ll never start anything. Start today. Start walking toward your ultimate success.

#4 Don’t miss your tap on the shoulder.

Winston Churchill describes that there comes a time in life where you’ll get a ‘tap on the shoulder’ reminding you that you have an opportunity to make a significant difference in the life of someone else. The question then becomes, will you?

Churchill says,

To each there comes in their lifetime a special moment when they are figuratively tapped on the shoulder and offered the chance to do a very special thing, unique to them and fitted to their talents. What a tragedy if that moment finds them unprepared or unqualified for that which could have been their finest hour.

Take these four principles and get ready for your avalanche of blessing! Live a life that’s unique, authentic, and original to you and let God handle the rest. Lead with your incredible talents and personality, and let God use you.

It’s all a matter of time before your avalanche begins to shake up the atmosphere!
